Jay Dowhaniuk, which is pronounced “Dow-han-e-uk” (don’t worry, even Ukrainians pronounce it wrong!), is a Wealth Manager at Raymond James. Jay’s clients value his personable approach and unique skill of explaining complex financial concepts in a way that is understandable.
A graduate from the Okanagan School of Business with a BBA degree majoring in finance, Jay started his career at a major bank but soon joined Raymond James in 2005 and has over 15 years of experience in finance. Jay has also earned the prestigious Chartered Investment Manager (CIM®) and Fellow of CSI (FCSI®) designations.
Jay is an avid cyclist who combines his passion for cycling and philanthropy by participating in a number of fundraising events each year. Most notably is the Ride to Conquer Cancer benefiting the BC Cancer Foundation where Jay’s efforts caught the attention of Global News Okanagan and the Kelowna Daily Courier.
When Jay is not in the office, he enjoys spending time with his wife Brianne, daughter Charley and son Tucker. When he isn’t biking Jay enjoys boating, camping, snowboarding and taking advantage of all the Okanagan has to offer.
